Position: Embedded Developer
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Duration: 6 + Months
Job Description:
Embedded software developer with experience in device level and board support package Software development.
Integration of Linux and proprietary middleware onto new, custom hardware.
Experience with Linux and kernel level development.
Ability to take on assembly level, Linux device driver and other low-level software implementation tasks.
Device configuration for flash, DRAM, Ethernet, custom FPGA.
Understanding of processor boot architecture and experience with Linux, or other OS, boot sequence.
Strong C/C++ and assembly language programming skills, familiarity with JTAG debuggers.
Strong communication skills, able to work closely with development team in dynamic environment.
Ability to interface between application programmers and hardware designers and debug system-level issues.
ARM CPU core, DSP core, OSEck OS, transport and IP protocols experience a plus.
Specific experience with TI DSP a plus.
