US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Opening for Project Manager/ Business System Analyst in HR (PeopleSoft)

Title            :        Project Manager/ Business System Analyst in HR (PeopleSoft)

Location     :        Sunnyvale, CA

Duration    :        5 plus Months

 

 

Job Description:

 

·         Specific Application Areas: HR applications, PeopleSoft, Integration, ERP, SaaS

·         Coordinate functional groups' responsibilities and deliverables with respect to HR process and system initiatives. Work with BAs in HRIS to identify deliverables, milestones, action items, risks on projects and programs.

·         Define and gain approval for business requirements, process modeling deliverables, project plans and charters.

·         Track, develop and create release calendar for project implementation.

·         Track each project schedule and create a project plan with input from the cross-functional team.

·         Schedule, attend and record meetings notes, actions, issues, and status.

·         Update website with all information related to the project status.

·         Assist with developing and creating corporate communications plans and business readiness plans for affected customers and stakeholders; ensure communications plans and business readiness plans are created and executed for IT, vendor, and business stakeholders.

·         Assist program manager with HR IT Account Management, status, and steering committees.

·         Manage projects in compliance with the NetApp Project Development Lifecycle and associated deliverables to ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts.

·         Work with developers to translate requirements into technical specifications.

·         Strong oral and written communication skills.

·         Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.

·         Ability to conduct user workshops, define requirements, estimate, assess and plan projects, write use and business cases, and design workflow processes.

·         Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle; Agile methodologies a plus.

·         Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and utilizing project management applications.

·         Strong user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project and Visio.

·         Creative approach to problem solving.
