US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Requirement : Performance Tester : MN : Long Term Project

The focus is a performance tester with QTP and MUST UNDERSTAND and have experience with WINDOWS installing and configuring

 

Role : Performance Tester

Location : Minneapolis, MN

Needed ASAP

Duration : 18 months

 

Required

·     3-5 years overall testing experience with increasing domain of responsibility.

·     At least 3 years experience in performance testing, with this being the primary focus.

·     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work experience.

·     Last 2 years focused experience in using Performance Center / Load Runner.

·     QTP

·     Unix Linux Commands

·     Experience testing webservices.

·     Ability to determine load targets.

·     Experience with baseline and benchmark testing.

·     Working knowledge of Sitescope and Introscope monitoring products.

·     Experience and self sufficient in using UNIX/Linux commands: e.g.VMSTAT / IOSTAT utilities.

·     Experience in writing complex test plans, test cases, and scripts.

·     Excellent oral / written communication with ability to effectively work with onsite and remote teams.

·     Can work independently and be self directed with limited coaching from mentor.

·     Demonstrated problem analysis and problem solving skills in a technical environment escalating only after taking self directed initiative and action.

·     Strong data / metrics extraction, parsing and correlation skills using Load Runner Analysis and Excel.

·     Knowledge of productivity application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, etc.

·     Ability to interface with all levels and across organizational lines.

Additional Knowledge/Experience

·     Experience in writing SQL queries for Oracle and executing SQL/TOAD test scripts.

·     Working knowledge of network protocols being able to communicate effectively with network technicians.

·     Experience with defect management in ClearQuest, Quality Center.

·     Knowledge of financial services industry.
