Title: Tivoli Developer

Location: Herndon, VA

Duration: 8+ months

Rate: Open – Need Best All Inclusive

Work Hours: Core hours 7AM-6PM

We need US Citizens only with Security Clearance.

 

Description/Responsibilities:

• Software Engineer/IBM Tivoli developer is responsible for implementation and support of the manager-of-managers tool suite.

• Analyzes and researches options for interfaces with exiting external systems.

• Participates in architectural planning for service management and service assurance.

• Should have an understanding and hands-on experience with software maintenance (i.e., patching, version control, upgrades etc) to ensure deployed Tivoli based solutions remain current and operational.

• Will be directly involved with solution testing, debugging, and refinements to produce the required end-product.

• Capable of preparing program-level and user-level documentation on an as-needed-basis.

• Provides and receives technical direction as required to ensure program deadlines are met.

• Experience working with and an understanding of Enterprise Management systems and processes is desired.

 

Certifications & Skills:

Linux, Scripting Language, SSL, SQL/DB2, Websphere, ITM, ITCAM, Tivoli Netcool (Omnibus, Impact, TBSM, TIP, TADDM, ITNM).

 

Minimum Requirements:

• 12 Years of job related experience and a High School/GED diploma.

• 10 Years of job related experience and an Associate degree.

• 8 Years of job related experience and a Bachelors degree.

• 6 Years of job related experience and a Masters degree.

• 4 Years of job related experience and a Doctorate.
