US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Immediate Need for Front-end UI Developers and Java Developers in Cambridge MA ! Locals Preferred & Immediate Hire !

Hi,

Keep me posted if you have any candidates available for the below position.  Locals preferred.  In-person required.

 I need a front-end UI Developer with Ruby (doesn't have to be Ruby on Rails) and other front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX to develop website, UI, and mobile app's. Cambridge, MA. 6 months+. 

 

Need multiple Java Developer for client in Cambridge, MA (same client as above) 6 months+ 

We need to develop additional functionality and get our back-end in sync with the new premium offering (the mobile ruby app). There are 7 job search related functions we need to build for this alone. Here's the environment: All Java back end/ interfacing with Ruby on the front end. Hibernate as the object-relational mapping (ORM) layer, Drools for declarative rules, PMML for models, RabbitMQ for messaging, Tomcat as the J2EE container, MySQL as the database, Sphinx for full-text search, Tapestry as a UI layer for some back-end admin UIs.

 

 

Components we're asking the Senior developers to build. You can see there's a mix of messaging, database, search and rules work:

 

 

job scraper (search)

job listing generation

discovery services (ingesting feeds from various sources)

fetch (rules for the search)

click tracking (who clicked on what)

indexing (age of content, type)

infrastructure modeling (more operations stuff)
