Function:

Cisco Jabber experience a must!!

The following skills are required as part of the Sustaining Engineering IP Telephony (IPT) Level 3 (L3) Services:

Wide Area VOIP, Local Area Network IPT and Collaboration Architecture:

• Provides daily design support for IPT Voice and Collaboration Services in the client's global infrastructure.

• Develop designs for Day 2 operations supporting identification and resolution for network events.

• Support relationships with key upstream IT delivery organizations (IP Services, application support, etc).

• Voice Traffic Engineering for IPT and Collaboration Capacity and performance analysis for LAN, MAN and WAN utilization.

• Business As Usual (BAU) network software and hardware maintenance projects to meet IPT and Collaboration architecture and service goals.

• Support service quality metrics.

• Provide technology leadership to other members of network team

 

Industry Knowledge:

• IP Telephony Standards

• MS Collaboration Standards

• Call Center CTI Standards

• Computer Networking

• Fiber Optics

• LANS/WANS

• Switches – Cisco Catalyst platform (VLANs, trunking)

• Wiring  Standards

• Protocols OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and other related technologies (Multicast, IP Video and IP Telephony).

• CCIE skill level requested
