US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Multiple Reqs Needed Sharepoint Developer, Sharepoint BA and FIM/ILM/MIIS Consultant

1)Position : SharePoint Developer

Location : Burbank, CA

Duration : 4 - 6 months chances of extension for a year or so.

 

Description :

 

Analysis and design of custom legacy code found in SharePoint 2003 and SharePoint 2007 sites to be migrated to SharePoint 2010. In addition, design and prototype of various web parts in the SharePoint 2010 environment using .NET. C# and the SharePoint object model; development of Dashboards using Performance Point services and custom aspx pages.
Design and create a functional specification for data integration with SAP either using Duet or via BCS.

Skill Set:


Strong knowledge of the following aspects of SharePoint.
SharePoint site hierarchy .
SharePoint content types .
SharePoint Managed Metadata services.
Identifying SharePoint OOB features vs. custom application including custom workflow, web parts and styles.
Strong knowledge of the erooms platform.
Identify erooms custom workflow and features and design for ways to migrate into SharePoint.

 

Description:

                Provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.

·         Develops enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features.

·         Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers.

·         Provides expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business.

·         Determines specifications, then plans, designs, and develops the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes—either individually or in concert with project team.

·         Will assist in the most difficult support problems.

·         Develops programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.

·         Has in-depth knowledge of state-of-the art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs. Understands and consistently applies the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.

·         Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business.

·         Viewed both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.

·         Acts as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent.

·         Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

·         Typically has 5 to 7 years of experience in multiple IT areas and 2–4 years of relevant architecture experience. Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application systems design and integration.

 

 

2) Position :FIM / ILM / MIIS Consultant

Location : Orlando, FL

Duration : 6 months

 

Description :

 

·         Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems.

·         Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.

·         May require a bachelors degree ia related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

·         Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

·         Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

·         Performs a variety of tasks.

·         Works under general supervision.

·         A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

·         Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

At least 2 years of actual operational experience implementing and administrating Managed Agents in MIIS 2003, ILM 2007 and/or FIM 2010 Synchronization services.
Completion of the Advanced Implementer and Developer Course for ILM or FIM.

3) Position : Sharepoint Business Analyst

Location : Burbank, CA

Duration : : 4 - 6 months chances of extension for a year or so.

 

Liasion between the Business Units, IT and the SharePoint development team.
Understanding requirements of a complex IT organization with the goal of automating processes, managing their content and designing structured forms.
Understanding the requirements of the user community and translating them into SharePoint related workflows and processes.
Communicating the various benefits derived from an advanced SharePoint implementation - such as the use of PowerPivot, Excel Services and Performance Point functionality.

Proposing similar functionality to the business as and when appropriate.
Deliver solutions using an Agile approach

Skill Set:


Strong knowledge of the following aspects of SharePoint:
Document Management/ Content Management
Metadata/ Content Types
Workflow and Form Development tools (3rd party tools such as Nintex preferred)
Identifying SharePoint OOB features against custom development (workflow, web part, ASP.NET)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Past experience with SharePoint development desired
Understanding and communicating web part development
Understanding and communicating external data access methods
Ability to write detailed functional specifications
Strong project management and prioritization skills
Experience with Agile development methodologies

 

Description:

Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

·         Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities.

·         Analyzes business partners operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.

·         Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.

·         Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business.

·         Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprises competitive edge.

·         May make recommendations for buy versus build decision.

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

·         Typically has 5 to 7 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
