Teradata Database Developer
Job Description:
Our team is within the Finance and Regulatory IT area, we are looking for a hands-on database oriented developer to develop a strategic regulatory data warehouse. The system processes OTC derivatives data, listed derivatives, futures, options, repos, stock loan, and other instruments which needs to be screened for regulatory compliance. Prior experience with financial data desired.
Expertises in the following skills/technologies are required:
NO FINANCIAL INDUSTRY
- Relational Data Modeling knowledge (first, second and third normal forms)
- Teradata database development experience (programming, Performance Monitoring and Tuning) - 5 years experience minimum
- ETL or data loading experience 2 years experience minimum
- UNIX Shell Scripting - 2 years experience minimum
Skills Desired
- Perl, with knowledge of DBI.pm methods
- Job Scheduling tools
- Source Control
