Primary Skills : Expert in JQuery and JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 Development
Location : Bay Area
Rate : market, # of Positions : 1, Duration : 6-12 months plus possible
Description :
UI Architect/Senior Developer:
---Experience in Web User Interface programming (Servlets, HTML, JavaScript)
---Proficiency with user interface development and design in Web 2.0
---Knowledge of Java programming
Qualifications:
• At least 7 years of design and implementation of java based software
• MS and 5+ years' experience developing Web based user interfaces or at least 7+ years with BS
• Participation in a hands-on role in multiple Web UI projects
• Expert in JQuery and JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 Development
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML, SOAP and at least one server side language or platform like JSP and Tomcat
• Solid understanding of OO design and programming, on hand experience with Java or Objective - C
• Proficient with debugging JavaScript, adding breakpoints and stepping through scripts using Firebug or other debugging tools
• Solid understanding of Web 2.0 technologies.
• Experience with modular and componentized UI development in an distributed development environment
• Experience with offshore development would be a plus
Familiarity with the following would be a plus:
o Familiarity with Web service and XML technologies
o Eclipse plugin development experience
• Experience with multiple JavaScript libraries
• Experience in cloud computing, EC2, etc.
• Experience with charting solutions, using SVG, VML
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Education:
B.S.in Computer Science or related technical field, Masters preferred
