Position: Storage System Engineer
Location: Boston, MA

Overview and Responsibilities:
Storage Engineer to join the Storage team and will be responsible for support and projects pertaining to Storage and NAS environments The entry level storage engineer is responsible for implementation, and ongoing management of all Storage Area Networks (SAN), NAS, Fiber Switches / Directors as well as NAS architecture. This individual will be part of a team that includes mid-level and Sr. Engineers primarily focused on Storage design, implementation and support. This individual will also be responsible for NAS charge-back and the software/tools necessary to generate such
Skills:
Ø 5+ years experience in IT field with 2+ years of Storage
Ø Experience working for an enterprise class corporation
Ø Experience in provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting of enterprise storage systems
Ø Experience in all types of storage technologies including EMC, DMX, VNX/Clariion, Centerra, and Cisco MDS SAN Switches. Including EMC replication tools SRDF/S and SRDF/A.
Ø Ability to document systems within their areas of responsibility
Ø Excellent Oral and Documentation skills
Ø On call rotation required
Ø Works well in a team environment
Ø Considered a plus if candidate has:
Ø Strong understanding of Windows server technologies
Ø Strong understanding of network technologies
Ø Strong understanding of virtualization technologies
Ø Specific knowledge of VMware vSphere and related products
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
