Job Title: 2 Java Developers

Location: Harrison, NY 

Duration:1 Year Contract

The primary responsibilities of the Java Developers will include strong analytical and programming skills.

·         Experience using Java, JSP, EJB, HTML, JavaScript, etc.

·         Must be able to trouble shoot production issues.

Some back office work will be needed so experience with legacy Java   applications is a must

·         Knowledge of Pension business is a plus.

·         Knowledge of SQL.

·         Organizational and oral/written communication skills.

·         Customer service skills; demonstrating flexibility in handling both internal and external customer related issues.

·         Desire to acquire and stay current with business and industry knowledge and technology trends.

·         Drive, persistence and personal ownership of assignments

·         Previous experience in a cross-functional team environment desirable.

 

·         Comfortable working in a team environment or independently based on assigned project.

·         Ability to make decisions and demonstrate problem solving skills, analysis, prioritization and risk taking.

·         Ability to work well with technical and business staff to achieve project objective(s)

 

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

2 -4 years experience in software development.

Experience with Core Java exp
