Role: Sr Oracle DBA /Architect
Duration: 12 months
Location: Woodbury NY
Rate: Open
Interview type: Phone and F2F ( Locals or nearby resources only)

Key Skills: Oracle DBA and Architect, MS SQL Server, Data Warehouse

 

Responsibilities/Required Skills:

1. Must have at least 8-9+ years of exp working with Oracle Data base
2. Must have good exp with MS SQL Server as well.
3. Integrate MSSQL into Oracle System to retrieve data.  Oracle to SQL integration - beyond setting up a replication environment.
4. Data warehouse.
5. Oracle to SQL integration (SQL Publisher/Subscriber frameworks)
6. Log Shipping / Replication / Mirroring,
7. SQL programming knowledge for both platforms (E.g. T-SQL for MS SQL and the oracle equivalent.)
8. Integration will require a certain level of SQL programming beyond just setting up a replication environment.
