Location : Chicago IL

Duration : long-term contract

Description :

- 6+ yrs of Java/J2EE with core Java
- Expertise in front-end Java/Web development skills (HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc) will be a plus
- Exposure to Struts/Spring/Hibernate, JMS/JPA, data structures
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux, navigating/configuring systems and shell scripting
- Good experience with Web Services, SOA, SOAP and RESTful web-services
- Strong experience with OOAD, Agile/Scrum, TDD and Design Patterns
- Experience of setting up/configuring and managing App Server environment, primarily in Weblogic (Websphere, Apache will be OK)
- Strong knowledge/experience with RDBMSs such as Oracle, DB2, etc and knowledge of data modeling, SQL, query optimization, etc
- Strong understanding of Unit Testing framework such as JUnit or JUnitperf will be helpful
- Experience of working in commercial software product organizations will be a plus
