Location: Santa Clara, California Duration: 8 weeks *LOCAL CANDIDATES ARE PREFERRED* The Information Systems Engineer is responsible for the following: -Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems -Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity -Troubleshoots system issues and resolves or escalates -Creates and updates system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures Required Experience for the Information Systems Engineer: -Very strong experience supporting operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications -This position also requires a high level of experience in the following: Strong knowledge of troubleshooting .Net application Experienced working with Java application Microsoft Windows 2008 R2, 2012 Strong knowledge in IIS 7, 7.5 Working knowledge of VMware in an enterprise environment Experienced working in an enterprise data center Must have: VMware vCenter / Virtual Center, strong Windows and/or Linux experience. Experience with the following would be a plus: vCloud Director, NetApp, PowerShell, Cisco UCS Blade Servers, SharePoint, F5 Big-IP LTM, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft IIS, .NET.
