IMMEDIATE NEED for a WHITEBOX QA Engineer!

6 months+ contract
Location: San Diego, CA 92108 (right by Qualcomm stadium)

 

GC or US Citizen

*Must be able to pass client's background check - criminal and drug screen - C2C ok but need excellent comm skills*

Our client is seeking a candidate that is well-versed in white-box software testing methodologies, including automated test design and development. In this position the candidate will implement and monitor automated tests against new software features and enhancements to existing software. This candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA Engineers to conduct design reviews, perform ad-hoc, systematic and automated testing of software deliverables. To be a successful candidate you must be innovative, creative, flexible, and most importantly able to design and code.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience developing and testing complex software applications in C#/ASP.Net
* Automation/scripting skills in Asp.Net, C#, JQuery, JavaScript
* Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures and writing SQL Queries to check programming results
* Experience with Visual Studio 2010 and 2012 Test Suites
* Experience troubleshooting SOA applications, Web Services
* Experience with unit testing, continuous integration, and test-driven development, and load testing
* Ability to design and implement automated tests including interpretation of the results and reports
* Automation/scripting skills in JavaScript, and C#
* Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle principles and QA methodologies
* Demonstrated ability to create test plans and define test cases from project requirements and design specifications
* Energy and desire to deliver high-quality software on aggressive schedules
* Experience working with distributed teams
* Must adapt to changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities with a positive attitude
* Enjoys tackling hard coding problems as well as testing challenges
* Experience identifying, reporting, and tracking issues in a bug tracking system
