The Data Warehouse Developer's responsibilities include:
§ Designs, develops and implements logic to extract, transform & load data from transactional applications into the DW using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and PL/SQL
§ Knows DW Concepts and has Data Warehouse modeling experience
§ Partners with Database Administrators and DW developers to achieve great performance
§ Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in DW data and data standards.
§ Helps DW end users understand and query data to accomplish their business purposes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required for this:
§ Acts as functional expert; stays current on best practices and applies them effectively
§ Responds promptly and effectively to resolve incidents, tasks, and projects
§ Shows initiative by working hard
§ Solves problems at the source by offering simple, working solutions
§ Communicates DW changes clearly, concisely, and objectively (verbally & in writing)
§ Anticipates the impact of a change or project across multiple systems
§ Champions the current process and recommends data and process improvements
Position Outcomes & Activities: You will be measured by how well you:
§ Respond promptly and effectively to resolve incidents
§ Gather requirements for a change by meeting with customers and listening actively
§ Meet your time and cost estimates when implementing a change
§ Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities described above
§ Fulfill customer requirements using Oracle Data Integrator and PL/SQL.
Position Technical Requirements:
§ At least 5 years DW design and development experience; 5 years Information Systems experience
§ Knowledge of ETL tools -Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition Required
§ Practical expertise in lifecycle database design, 3NF and dimensional design concepts
§ Proficiency in PL/SQL coding, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
§ Experience with Oracle (preferably version 11)
§ Knowledge of Unix Scripting and job scheduling
§ Experience in Data Quality and Cleansing, Data Governance, Metadata usage and management, and Master data management.
3) Oracle APEX - PLSQL Developer

§ Designs, develops and implements small to medium sized enterprise applications utilizing Oracle's Application Express technology
§ Knows data modeling concepts and has application modeling experience
§ Partners with Database Administrators and DW developers to achieve great performance
§ Interacts with customers to gather and document system requirements
§ Helps end-users understand and utilize Apex to accomplish their business purposes.
What Knowledge, Skills and Abilities you need:
§ Acts as functional expert; stays current on best practices and applies them effectively
§ Responds promptly and effectively to resolve incidents, tasks, and projects
§ Shows initiative by working hard
§ Solves problems at the source by offering simple, working solutions
