Spotfire Business Author –Performance Analytics Explorer
Position Description
Designs and develops complex analytics solutions for hospital providers and payors. Translates business needs into requirements and detailed design specifications to deliver packaged analytics applications designed for deployment at multiple customer settings. Ensures that metric calculations and performance comparisons use appropriate statistical tools and that opportunities for improvement are statistically valid. Creates advanced data models including the use of Spotfire's data on-demand functionality to optimize application performance. Partners with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineers to ensure effective end-to-end data flows from source systems through the necessary ETL processes to enrich data and report accurate and meaningful clinical and business metrics. Plans and executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing to ensure high quality products are delivered. Completes technical and end user facing product documentation for solutions to assist with trouble-shooting and customer adoption. Leads cross-functional teams and serves as a coach, trainer, and mentor for other Business Authors.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of 10+ years experience in designing, building, and implementing advanced analytics solutions using the TIBCO Spotfire Professional. Demonstrated product expertise including the advanced use of visualizations, embedded property controls, and complex custom expressions. Experience using TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services using S+ and R to create solutions that include embedded modeling, forecasting, and linear regression.
Education
Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science required. PhD preferred. Healthcare or Pharma experience preferred, but not required.
