Requirement Details

Job Title:           Front End Developer
Location:           Jersey City, NJ
Job Type:          Contract
Duration:            6-12 months


Responsibilities:

• The Front-End Developer will be responsible for interactive prototypes/skeletons in HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

 
Requirements:
5+ years of the following:

• Experience coding fully object-oriented JavaScript
• jQuery
• Hands on experience coding/debugging AJAX requests
• Code table-less CSS layouts
• 4+ years experience of software or website development
• Expert level skills in HTML 4/CSS 2/jQuery
• Experience creating a responsive layout and using CSS media queries
• Hands on experience with DOM, W3C Standards, Browser Standards
• AJAX and JSON against web services (SOAP/RESTful)
• Client side debugging using Firebug, Chrome Web Developer, Fiddler, and etc.
• Experience working with code repositories (SVN, Git) and on projects with multiple developers
• Good communication skills

Nice to have:

• Portfolio of any design / external website work
• HTML5/CSS3 real world experience (Local Storage/Web Sockets)
• Mobile Frameworks (Titanium, PhoneGap, Sencha Touch, ExtJS, DOJO
