Position: Oracle EBS DBA

Location: Oak Brook, IL

Duration: 1 year

 

 

Job Description

Provide 24X7 DBA support for Production database 11.2.0.1, apply database patches, Create database objects and maintain the data models, Administer and maintain the database security, Implement Database Change Controls, Resolve Database related issues, Monitor and improve database performance, Construct Unix shell scripting as needed, Provide SQL tuning advice to development team: E Business application DBA skills (in addition to the above core DBA tasks) Perform environment cloning from Prod to non-prod environments, Apply application patches, Upgrade E business suite as needed, Support EBS application related components, e.g. Concurrent , Forms, Reports, Java, Web and Discoverer, Maintain and support EBS 12.1.3, OIF/OAM with ADFS Single Sign-on components, Integrate and support with external LDAP, use application change control for Production code migration, Perform system administrator within Oracle EBS suites, e.g. provision users, set up printers, set up system profile, Familiar with High availability (horizontal scaling) with application server

 

Qualifications:

EBS Oracle 12.1.3

Oracle database 11.2.0.1

Senior Level DBA

Experience with OIF/OAM with ADFS

Very good communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work with 3rd party infrastructure hosting vendor. Off hours support required.

 

Update (2/4):

RAC experience

Database/Application Migration from Solaris/AIX to Linux

OAM (Oracle access manager)

SSO/OID
