OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Test Engineer is the subject matter expert for infrastructure and product testing. They would be responsible for automated and manual test design and execution. They are responsible for providing all levels of test on a work effort; System, End-to-End System Test, User Acceptance Test, Performance Test, Non-Functional Test, Regression Test, End-to-End Customer Experience Test, Implementation Test, Integration Test. The Test Engineer would provide automation requirements such as the manual functional testing tasks to the Automation Engineers. The Test Engineer will work directly with the Automation Engineer to decide what should be automated and how manual procedures may be modified to better facilitate automation.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

 

- Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites for web testing

- Experience developing test automation suite / scripts in Selenium

- Experience with Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE is required

- Programming/scripting experience with Java or PERL

- Object Oriented programming experience is helpful

- Experience creating and maintaining test documentation (Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Summary, Test Cases, etc.)

- Experience using a test management tool (TestLink is preferred)

- Experience developing an automation-testing framework is helpful

- IT Service Management or ITIL experience is preferred
