Manual

​Mobile ​

Testers
Seattle, WA
6 months +

​Rate: Open ​

Responsibilities:
Conduct manual (Black box) tests as part of a new product certification effort and understand product development cycle for mobile devices
Work with remote development team to validate New Features
Perform first level troubleshooting of issues found and generate defect reports
Assist in verifying defect resolution
Participate in Field testing or lab testing for mobile devices

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years testing experience in Android mobile platform environment. Android or IOS is preferred and 1+ years of carriers certification testing is a plus.
2. Must have solid experience testing Mobile applications and Technical understanding of wireless applications and network interactions with handsets - e.g., browser, messaging, email, app downloads, etc., is highly desired
3. White/black box testing methodologies
4. Working knowledge with Android environment
5. Implementing test harness to automate functional, stress and system tests.
6. Basic understanding of Android APIs and Android build system.
7. Knowledge of some wireless technologies/standards: GSM/CDMA/UMTS/ LTE
8. Knowledge of protocol stack functionalities/features
9. Knowledge of common test equipment (R&S, Anite, Anritsu)
10. Understanding of modem validation process
11. Ability to write and execute test cases and develop Test suites.
12. Automation testing experience is a plus
13. Experience in version control systems such as Git.
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Japanese language knowledge of is plus.

2)Test Automation

Responsibilities:
Create automated functional, regression, and stress test infrastructure for Android platform features.
Develop tools, infrastructure and frameworks to increase the automation productivity of the team and add quality to our products
Strong communication skills - Work closely with internal/cross functional teams (QA, Development, Product Management, etc...) to help issues get resolved
Quickly ramp up on new projects and be able to multi task between different projects as needed

Qualifications:

1. 3+ Mobile testing experience (Android Platform is a strong plus)
2. Strong experience in writing complete software test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test automation.
3. Technical understanding of wireless applications and network interactions with handsets - e.g., browser, messaging, email, Application downloads, etc., is highly desired
4. Experience with mobile testing tools such as ADB
5. Java/Android programming experience is a plus
6. Automated Testing tool knowledge is required (Selenium/Load Runner/Robotium/Android Monkey Runner/Junit)
7. Basic understanding of Android APIs and Android build system.
8. Experience with one or more version control like Git.
