Title: Project/Progam Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Proactively work with proposal owners to set expectations and meet (and exceed) their needs while they are engaged with the GBO PMO.
Proactively work with global project and Operations teams to clearly and concisely communicate proposal issues and statuses.
Proactively work with proposal owners, global project and Operations teams and global stakeholders to drive resolution of issues that will help maximize success.
Work with communication team to develop and continuously improve GBO PMO messaging, training, best practices and case studies.
Identify and track key metrics that defines GBO PMO business value and performance.
Provide timely communication and escalation of issues to the Operations Leadership Team.
Drives the stakeholder (customer) relationship within programs and projects.
Has working knowledge of program or project content.
Work closely with teams and stakeholders to ensure the program or project is delivered on time, within budget and to quality.
Owns the origination goal for the program or project.
Responsible for the cost, schedule and KPI performance of program or project.
Evangelizes, tactically plans and executes the necessary PMO governance steps to drive successful delivery and adoption of a program or project.
Works within and for GBO PMO, and to assigned stakeholders and steering committees to communicate and drive strategy of the program's or project's intent.
Orchestrates stakeholder needs to improve and execute the program or project.
Participates in the management and redesign of program or project scope as required.
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications and operating budgets of the program.
Acts as primary customer contact for program or project activities, leading review sessions with stakeholders to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establishes and monitors milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules with assistance from GBO PMO.
Identifies issues and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing program or project specifications.
