Position : SQL Developer ---- (Need Local To TX)
Location: Fort Worth,TX
Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract
Must Be US Citizen

Position Description
The role of the business intelligence developer is to review business and technical requirements, write SQL queries, create cubes and deliver visualizations through Microsoft Business Intelligence tool set (PowerPivot / Performance Point / PowerView). This developer must have an extensive understanding of SQL, data warehouses, SharePoint BI and SSAS. Developer will have an IT background and be very knowledgeable about how the major pieces of data warehousing and business intelligence applications fit together.
 
Skills Required
KNOWLEDGE: 1. Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (PowerPivot / Performance Point / PowerView) 2. Data Warehouse (Microsoft) 3. SSAS, SSIS, SSRS 4. SQL Server 2012 (preferred) or SQL Server 2008 R2 5. Tabular and Multidimensional Cubes 6. Data Modeling SKILLS/ABILITIES: 1. Analytical and problem solving skills 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 3. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers and SMEs 4. Able to organize, coordinate, and direct users and teams 5. Strong oral and written communications abilities 6. Solid analytical and technical skills 7. Excellent presentation skills 8. Current on the latest database advances within industry.
 
Skills Preferred
 Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) preferred.
 
Experience Required
Education: • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in analytics, computer science, programming, or business Work Experience: • Total 5 -7 years experience in IT analytics • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL, data warehousing, or similar • Experience in the creation and maintenance of OLAP cubes, or similar • 3-5 years experience with Application Development methodologies preferred
 
Education Required
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
