Position: DataBase Administrator

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

• Database can be combination of EITHER of the two  - Oracle or  SQL or Sybase or DB2 
  
• Work in a team environment to provide database support including: 
  
• Upgrades & Performance Monitoring 
  
• Database Software Installation 
  
• Replication Management 
  
• Diagnosing system problems 
  
• Disaster Recovery 
  
• Leading and participating in initiatives to improve service offerings 
  
• Creating and communicating service delivery procedures and run-books 
  
• Managing SLAs and deadlines 
  
• Vendor escalation 
  
• Providing timely resolutions to break/fix issues
