Job Description:

Must be expert in performance tuning  .
Must have extensive experience as Production\Application support SQL Server Database Administrator
Main Duties
- Provide SQL server Prod database support for a very critical application in the bank in the app dedicated DBA role.
- Provide Expert Performance Tuning support.
- Provide Database Server Architectures review.
- Provide Expert Transactional Replication support
Person Requirements

Must have extensive experience as Production support SQL Server Database Administrator
Must have experience with high availability (MS Cluster Service) - 2008, SQL 2012 and AlwaysOn experience with SQL 2012
Must exhibit very in-depth expertise in solving database contention problems (dead locks, blocking etc)
Demonstrate extensive expertise in performance tuning including both query and server optimization
Understanding of multi-tier architectures from a conceptual level and support bank critical application.
Must have Hands on experience with Transactional Replication (multiple subscribers, multi regional)
Must have experience with monitoring and analyzing SQL Server production metrics
Must have strong communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate and substantiate recommendations to the application team
Must have extensive experience Monitoring and analyzing SQL Server production metrics (DMV's, Performance Warehouse)

Must have experience in educating app team in adapting to new enhancements in SQL Server 2008, SQL 2012.
