Job Description:

 

We need Java developers(5-7yrs) with at least one recent project with e-Commerce applications, either B2C or B2B.

 

Program/Implement e-commerce suite on customer websites using Java, J2EE, JSP, MySql, MVC, HTML, CSS, JS, Tomcat, SVN and MyEclipse
Develop ecommerce related software components using J2EE technologies to implement various eCommerce platforms including eOne commerce, OCP and WCS for our customers
Develop software integration components using J2EE technologies to integrate various eCommerce platforms including eOne commerce, OCP and WCS with their OMS and ERP systems as needed
Design, develop and test prototypes in the Mcommerce arena to showcase Edgilent's expertise in this fast growing area. Specific implementation will include IPhone, Android among others
Work with Product Consultants, Technical Business Analysts and clients to understand functional requirements of projects
Provide feedback on technical feasibility
Develop new and/or modify existing programs to meet clients business requirements
Integrate the e-commerce suite with several 3rd party interfaces as per client requirements
Unit test application changes to ensure conformance to design specifications and software performance
Work with clients and internal team members to provide technical support and consulting
Work with Quality Assurance personnel to research and resolve software problems
Implement technical designs in accordance with established programming and technical standards
Work closely with Project Management, Quality Assurance and Documentation in the development process to bring projects to successful conclusion
Work on other in-bound development projects in the web area using J2EE technologies primarily and .Net if needed
Some travel may be required.
