Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12-18 months

Description:

ETL Developer  

The client is currently looking for an excellent ETL Developer to work as part of a well-established ETL Development team at a major bank located in San Francisco. 

 

Required Skills:

• 2-5 years experience with Abinitio
• 2-5 years working experience as an ETL Developer in a large datawarehousing environment
• Strong database knowledge and technical skill (Teradata is a HUGE PLUS)
• Has a great personality and wants to work as part of a team to deliver high quality ETL solutions
• Wants to do ETL Development work – This is not an architecture or team lead role

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with financial services/banking  or payments data
• Prior experience upgrading Abinitio from 2.15 to 3.XX
• Conductit or Plan experience

About the work and the environment:

• This is 90% straight transformation work
• A smaller percentage of the specs require more technical intervention
• ETL developers typically turn a spec into a load within a week, using template scripts, then automating and loading into production
• We are looking for someone who is going to be a good fit with the group, so personality fit is very important (must be outgoing, friendly, respectful and hard-working)
• The group is upgrading the Abinitio environment from 2.XX to 3.XX
