Position: Java/J2EE Developer

Primary Location: Durham, NC

Duration: 12+months

Rate: $55/hr

 

Requirement Details:

• - 5 to 7 years of experience in software development, with 2 years in developing Java Enterprise Solutions.
• - Java J2EE developer with strong object oriented software development using IBM-Rational toolsets and Oracle experience.
• - Expert level skills in Core Java and JEE technologies, such as Servlets, EJB, JDBC, JSP, JMS log4j and similar technologies.
• - Strong experience with database development on an Oracle platform.
• - Experience with SQL Server, including best practices, tuning, etc.
• - Significant experience with Service Oriented Architectures (Java Web Services, SOAP), XML technologies (XSL, XSLT, XSD, XPath, XQuery, SAX and DOM), Web GUI development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Web Application Frameworks, JavaScript frameworks), and Messaging technologies.
• - Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server and application deployment using IBM-Rational toolset.
• - Develop according to standards, specs and guidance. Utilize reference implementations, frameworks and other reusable components.
• - Understanding of SDLC methodologies and related artifacts
• - Ability to work in fast paced environment without significant supervision
• - Good communication skills, both written and verbal, candidates must be able to communicate with team member
