BA with Health Care or Insurance exp.

Location: Washington DC

Client: dept of Mental and Health( Govt)

Required Skills: 

Qualifications and Required Skills:

2+ years of experience with systems integration, and/or internet/web,

desktop, Client/Server system implementation and support including full
software life cycle management. Formal training preferred. 

Prior Internet development project experience.

Prior health insurance, general healthcare or general insurance

experience. 

Prior tenure and consultant experience within a professional services

firm (Big 4 or other). 

Highly competent with MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.

Customer management skills for administration, resolving issues and

building customer relationships. 

External customer relationship management and facilitation skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Effective listening and problem solving skills.

Responds strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines.

Works as an integral part of a talented team in a fast-paced and

proactive environment. 

 

Other Preferred Skills and Experience:

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation experience (e.g.

Peoplesoft, SAP, Oracle, etc.). 

Health and Life defined benefit plan administration experience.

General web application development knowledge.

General data communications and network operating systems knowledge.

Technical background in web applications (COM+, Java, XML, XSL, HTML,

ASP).
