Job Title: Test Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 months Contract
face to face interview
Must understand the application and its environment
Review non-functional requirements
Analyze performance requirements and prepare the test strategy
Prepare the Performance test plan and effort estimate
SOLID and applied experience developing performance tests utilizing HP's LoadRunner/Performance Center
Formulate scripting standards and guidelines
Perform script review
Analyze output generated from Load and Performance tests and be able to provide guidance and explain technical points
Find solutions and initiate testing changes proactively
Plan, create, maintain and review Load and Performance tests using tools and strategies
Identify re-usable components and update the script library
Coordinate with the stake holders and obtain required clarifications on performance requirements
C o-ordinate with the environment team for setting up of the test environment
Act as a technical leader within the team and serve as a SME
Analyze results of scripts execution
Report test results to management
Serve as a technical expert resolving critical and complex issues
