I do have a QA lead role open. However the client needs this person to have Asset Management company experience, trade order management and equity/fixed income trading system testing experience.

$55 - hourly rate · Lead the test efforts (functional, regression, and UAT) and defects management on a software project · Manage scheduling to ensure efficient and effective product testing; identifies and reports risks to project schedule and product quality and proposes new methods to control and/or mitigate risks. · Generate effective status and progress reports to the QA Manager and the project team leads. - Act as project leader on larger quality assurance tasks and consult in resolving problems and issues referred by others.
· Create comprehensive test plans with well defined, reusable test cases from business requirements and functional specifications documents. Must have: - Successful candidate must have at least 7 years of experience in software testing in a process driven technology environment. Experience must include hands-on testing and project leadership role for at least 2 years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in asset management industry business and technical infrastructure, significant experience with financial software testing.
- Experience with full cycle testing including functional testing, system testing, integration testing, performance and stress testing.
- Ability to analyze complex, multi-application requirements, write test plans and far-reaching test strategies and integrate various test tools.
- Experience in all phases of software application design, development and testing; knowledge of industry standard best practices as related to software testing.
- Ability to translate from business requirements to technical testing solutions.
- Proficient SQL/Database skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong partnership and relationship building skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
