Network Security

Location  : Collegeville, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Required Skills:  

Provide technical support in the resolution of technical issues for IBM ISS NIPS solution

Responsible for  Network Security device configurations, monitoring and management

Provide input on industry best practices for upgrades and new designs.

Responsible for new IPS deployments, upgrade execution and IPS retirement.

Provisioning, Monitoring and management  of Firewall/Intrusion Detection / Prevention System using  tools

Manage Enterprise Intrusion Detection / Intrusion Prevention Systems IBM ISS, McAfee Intrushield etc.

Administration of security related logs and events via console activity to determine cause of security related events or to identify potential security related risks.

Identify security incidents through log investigation, correlation and analysis

Report and investigate on anomalies outside the expected norm.

Review of escalated / re assigned incident tickets and co-ordinate with resolver group for the implementation of solution.

Incident reporting & Analysis

 

Additional Requirements:

Firmware upgrades
