Java Developer
Client: HP in Alpharetta GA. 
Must have good communication skills. 
Will do a phone screen to start. 

Looking for a Java developer with some .net and c# skills.

General Requirement

An experienced Java Engineer with deep knowledge of Java and Java EE. Needs to be able to articulate effectively with global development team to own and solve problems, implement new solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards of system availability and reliability. Also must possess design experience based on current OO and SOA design patterns. Excellent communicator, self-motivated, and flexible.

 

Essential Skills & Experience Required

o Current Java/J2SE/J2EE experience and proven object oriented development experience.

o OO and SOA design pattern experience

o Ability to own assignments through the complete life cycle with limited supervision

o Application frameworks: Spring, CXF, RestEasy

o Applications servers: Tomcat, JBoss, or Weblogic

o Proven experience of development using services and message oriented architectures

o DB: SQL Server 2005 / 2008 and Oracle

o SQL Server SQL & PL/SQL

o Strong knowledge of web service development

o Java class binding to XML structures

o UML

o Agile or other iterative development methodologies

o Proven ability to work well with geographically diverse and international teams spanning US, Europe, India and China

 

Necessary Development skills:

o Minimum 7 to 9 years development experience in Java

o Some experience in C# and .Net.

o Eclipse

o Maven

o JUnit

o Hudson or Jenkins

o Subversion, CVS, Clear Case

Education:

o B.Sc in Computing Science, Computing Engineering or related fields. M.Sc is a plus.
