Roles And Responsibilities:
· Should be familiar with Oracle APPS architecture & having good functional knowledge on Oracle Advanced Planning Suite (ASCP, GOP), OM (ATP) and INV (R12), Demantra
· Understand business, analyze and design system (Setups) accordingly.
· Create DRD's based on the customer Requirements document
· Create Test Plan and test cases for testing the customized component developed
· Maintain proper documentation like TD, UTP, etc of all the components.
Mandatory Technical Skills
· 8+ years of Informatica ETL development
· Design and architecture skills in both these arenas and can establish Cognos and Informatica as a product in the customer's organization
· Excellent knowledge of Informatica ETS tool and Informatica Data Transformation (Excel-specific parsing) and Informatica PowerCenter
· Demonstrate good knowledge of ETL design and architecture
· Experience creating and publishing packages/multidimensional models using Framework Manager from multiple data sources
· Experience performing data modeling and query tuning in Cognos Suite from multiple data sources
· Experience designing and developing complex report studio reports involving drill down, and master/detail queries
· Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL optimization skills and OLAP tools
· Ability to tune SQL queries to optimize query performance
· Experience in working with and supporting large data warehousing implementations
· SQL performance tuning and query optimization required
· Good understanding of RDBMS
· Excellent problem solving skills required.
Desirable Technical/Functional Skills:
· 10+ years software development experience
· Leveraging business abstraction layers, implement Cognos frameworks that will support both short and long term business needs
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
· Provides application analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and integration.
· Expert in multiple specialized phases of application development required.
· Supports business process, problem analysis and consultation
· Processes open defects or maintenance tickets and resolve technical issues
· Ability to create detailed technical design, code, test, debugs, document, and maintain applications required.
