Job Title: Java SQL Developer

Position Description
Client is seeking multiple, experienced Java developers for a client facing web development project. The successful candidate will work as a member of project team onsite at retailer's NYC headquarters. Individuals must be well rounded Java, SQL developers, knowledgeable in development best practices.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years' Java application development experience, with expertise in
• Java EE/J2EE
• EJB 3.0
• JSP
• Servlets
• JDBC
• JMS
• JSON
• JUNIT
· Expert level of knowledge of SQL including JDBC
· eCommerce experience needed
· Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate effective teamwork
· Strong ability to be flexible and willingness to pitch in as necessary
· Strong results-oriented work ethic
· Bachelor's degree
Nice-to-have skills and experience include:
· Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
· Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
· Object Oriented Analysis and Design/Development (OOA/OOD)
· Framework/Technologies including
• Hibernate
• Struts
• Spring
• SVN
• Java Executor
· Web user interface technologies including
• HTML5
• CSS3
• Tag Libraries
• JQuery
• AJAX
• JavaScript
· JVM Semantics/Garbage Collection knowledge
· Message queuing experience including
• WebSphere MQ
• RabbitMQ
· Consulting experience
