Position: Data Analyst with Data Profiling Exp
Location: Charlotte, NC or Colorado or Edison, NJ
Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities:
§ Serves as a Lead on projects to develop the plan for data analysis and design, and ensure the quality of the data specifications delivered to developers. Facilitates review sessions with business users and other team members to Identify and document business needs and data quality rules.
§ Provides guidance and reviews the work of other Data Analysts assigned to projects.
§ Coaches and mentors less experienced analysts
§ Provides estimates for work efforts on projects. Translates the data requirements into specifications for development, including data mapping specifications.
§ Performs detailed analysis in order to identify trends and patterns in data
§ Performs root cause analysis on data anomalies and working data stewards to resolve issues.
§ Develops best practices, guidelines and standards for Data Integration Center of Excellence.
Requirements:
· 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence areas
· 5+ years of experience in building ETL code for Data Quality/ Profiling
· Advanced SQL skills.
· Advanced data analysis skills in areas such as data quality and profiling.
· Intermediate level familiarity with IBM Information Analyzer or other similar data analysis and profiling tools, Business Glossary and metadata tools, knowledge of structured data such as entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships and metadata.
· Intermediate level knowledge of database management system physical implementation, including tables, joins and views.
· Proficiency combining data from multiple sources when needed for analysis. Proficiency writing functional/mapping specifications for extracts and reports.
· Familiarity with data governance processes.
· Strong leadership skills. Comfortable with overseeing analyst and development resources.
