Title – SFDC Consultant

Location – Cupertino,CA

Client – Tech Mahindra

Rate – $55/hr on C2C

As the Salesforce software development engineer (SDE) you will work with an experience team of senior software development engineers acting as SME for all APEX code and other related Salesforce platform development.  

The ideal Salesforce SDE candidate will have demonstrable experience in implementing multistep approval workflows and escalations to automate business processes and have experience with the Force.com web services API. You should also have experience of working within the VisualForce framework and creation and management of Apex classes. Strong background in Java is desirable. 

You will work closely with the Business and IT teams to identify practical solutions through existing and new application systems technology. As the Salesforce SME you will be responsible for leading the development, testing and ongoing support of the custom code. Your participation in the analysis and design activities will create supporting technical documentation and detailed design specifications.  

Responsibilities:

Engage in full life cycle software development projects

Provide critical feedback during specification, design and test review process 

Deliver detailed design (through data, class, UML and/or data flow diagrams) for feature(s) 

Configure Sales & Service Cloud 

Develop Java and Salesforce specific Apex code for visual force pages

Maintain technical documentation of design and operation 

Qualifications:

7 plus years of experience as a developer

At  least 2 full lifecycle SalesForce.com implementations

Experience with Visual force and Apex development is required 

Experience with integration technologies, web services, SOAP, XML and workflow

Experience working with multiple parallel releases for Salesforce implementation

Experience configuring workflows and customizations for Salesforce implementation

Experience integrating external systems data into Salesforce and vice versa

Experience in a SCRUM Agile development environment is desired

Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript required

Deep understanding of software development methodologies, design and implementation

Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, OOP, and procedural programming

Good written and verbal communication skills
