Sharepoint Architect

Houston,TX

12 Months                                                                              

 

This is a 1 year contract, and the resource needs to be able to work out of Houston.  I can release the client name with the client expresses interest in your candidate. They can be anywhere right now, but I would need them to relocate at their own expense within the next 2 weeks.  The 1^st step in the interview process is a telephonic technical screen with the client.

Architecting and implementing Microsoft FAST 2010 Search solutions

Architecting and implementing SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Search solutions

 

 

SharePoint Search Architect

As the SharePoint Search for our team, this person’s responsibilities include overall search system design, requirements definition for search dependent database, applications, and operation system environment, and implementing these search solutions according to industry best practices.

Responsibilities include:

·         Architecting and implementing SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Search solutions leveraging known search best practices and architecture. 

·         Architecting and implementing Microsoft FAST 2010 Search solutions leveraging known search best practices and architecture. 

·         Migration of search solutions to new or improved platforms, either on-premises or into cloud environments.

·         Documenting search solutions and configurations, and incorporating lessons learned into existing best practices. 

·         Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs.

·         Serves as expertise in all aspects of search solution design and development.

·         May conduct training to client staff.

Requirements:

·         Requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8-10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.

·         Demonstrates current expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

·         Must be able to work on-site in Houston, Texas.
