Position: Senior Cognos/BI Developer

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ

Duration: 6+ months contract

Interview process: Phone/Skype Hire

Requirements:
• 5 years of experience with Cognos Business Intelligence
• Experience with Cognos 10 specifically with Business Insight and Business Insight Advanced
• 3 or more years experience creating dashboards, metrics manager
• 3 or more years experience with data modeling with Cognos Framework Manager
• 3 or more years experience with an SQL language, such as Oracle
• 3 or more years experience creating power cubes
• 3 or more years experience with the installation and debug of Cognos products
• 3 or more years experience with customer training and presentation
• Experience with the Cognos SDK and Mashup Sevices
• Strong SQL development skills
• Strong SQL tuning experience
• Dimensional and data warehouse modeling experience
• Good understanding of Cognos Administration
• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate complex issues and solutions
• Ability to work independently without significant oversight
• Ability to quickly grasp business problems
• Experience in Financial Services
