Position: Senior Basis Portal Consultant

Location: Houston (TX)

Duration: 4 to 6 Months

 

§  Basis Portal

§  Strong experience in JAVA stack and Portal systems.

§  Strong experience in 3rd party software integrated with SAP like Sabrix, OpenText, SmartOps, eRecruit

§  Installation and upgrades

§  SPS Upgrade - Java  & ABAP, EHP upgrade, and Kernel Upgrades, System Refreshes, and Client administration.

§  Transport Management - STMS, Check in - Check out of Objects

§  Health Checks -ABAP Dump analysis,  Performance monitoring, analysis and Trouble shooting

§  Root cause analysis need to be done for priority issues.

§  EWA analysis

§  Database Administration - Oracle, DB2, Max DB - Exposure to multiple databases would be an advantage.

§  Table space administration

§  Backup & Restore

§  Solution Manager - Administer the solution landscape (SMSY), Deployment of SMD, Configuring Solution Monitoring.  CCMS configuration

§  NWD, Portal Administration ; Visual Admin & Config tool

§  SAP OSS Administration

§  Spool Administration

§  SCOT - SAP Connect administration

§  RFC Administration, TRFC, QRFC

§  Exposure to Single sign on configuration - Kebros

§  Applying License

§  Good working knowledge on New dimension products including BW, CRM, PI/XI and Portal

§  Should have exposure to IPC Process ( Incident , Problem & Change Management)

§  Providing support services in 24/7 Environment

§  ITIL Process awareness.

§  Certification in SAP would be an advantage
