US CONSULTING - CONTRACT PHP Developer - MI

PHP Developer
Detroit, Michigan
3 Month Contract with Possible Extension

Position Requirements:

·         4+ years of professional-level Object Oriented PHP 5 Development experience, including experience with MVC Frameworks.

·         Experience with Web Standards philosophies and modern XHTML/HTML/CSS markup recommended.

·         Ability to explain complex ideas and concepts to business users.

·         Experience designing databases and writing efficient SQL queries.

·         Experience working in an Agile environment. 

·         Must be able to effectively write and modify code for eight or more hours a day.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Additional Beneficial Skills:
·         PostgreSQL Database experience.
·         Symfony or Zend framework.
·         Drupal experience.
·         SOAP, REST experience.

Education Requirements:

·         Bachelor's Degree in computer science and/or equivalent work experience
