Title: Traffic Manager (Project Manager with Ad Agency experience)
Duration: 3 to 6 months, then potential extensions
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay Range: $45-48/hr
Department Description:
The Project Management team is part of our Creative Services in-house agency. The team manages print and digital projects from inception to completion in support of our marketing and branding efforts. The teams work cross-office in California, Ohio & Austin via an electronic workflow system.
Traffic Manager Requirements:
The Traffic Manager is responsible for managing multi-faceted campaigns including deliverables such as brochures, sales sheets, direct mail, letters, applications, forms, banners and emails.
The Traffic Manager must establish timing and effectively communicate deadlines to the internal team and ensure the project is completed per the schedule. The candidate must have strong attention to detail and must be able to manage a workload of approximately 30+ projects simultaneously.
Specific duties include:
-Act as liaison for the internal team including art directors, copywriters, account managers, studio and proofreading
-Schedule creation and milestone tracking
-Manage the project life cycle from kickoff to delivery
- Day-to-day interaction with team to ensure all deliverable dates and job requirements are met
-Maintain project status and proactively communicate to the team
-Communicate workload forecast to studio and proofreading department leads
-Queue management for studio and proofreading
-Work closely with account managers to plan for upcoming projects
-Job setup and routing through internal electronic workflow tool
-Schedule and attend internal meetings
-Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
