Position: Jr.Java Developer
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 4+ months
Max Rate: $40 (Only Green Card or US Citizen)
Specific responsibilities:
· Assume accountability for the success of new applications and projects
· Use and mandate best practices in software development, including MVC pattern, Dependency Injection, and RESTful Web Services
· Create reusable components that are scalable and easily maintained
· Facilitate communication with front end developers in order to provide them with back-end data solutions for Rich Internet Clients.
NECESSARY SKILLS:
. An excellent foundation with the following technologies:
Core Java, Java Servlet API, JSP, XML, JSON, JSTL, Spring MVC, Struts, Hibernate, and JAXB
. Familiarity with databases, preferably Oracle, with ability to code stored procedures, triggers and functions. PL/SQL preferred.
. Comfort level working with both Windows and Unix environments
. Familiarity with Tomcat and ability to do minimal configurations.
. Outstanding communication skills
