Job Title: Lead Java Developer
Location: Chicago, IL - Local Only
Duration: 6+ Months
Qualifications:

Job Description:
The Lead Java Developer will be responsible for work with the Project Manager and designing solutions for the team, providing work effort estimates, working with end users on UAT and delivering solutions for the project.
Minimum of 7+ years employment experience as a J2EE developer
- Very solid Core Java development (Java 1.4 & above) experience
- Must have J2EE, JSP, Servlet, Hibernate, JSF, Spring and Struts development experience
- RDBMS (Oracle preferred): Must have several years of working experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase and must have experience writing stored procedures and functions
- Must have experience on Application Server like WebLogic 10.3 and other version
- Must have experience of scripting language like JavaScript
- Must have working experience control version system like SVN
- Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work closely with business owners to clarify project scope and specifications, including providing and evaluating alternative options where appropriate
- Ability to independently translate business requirements analysis into technical design specifications and development
- Ability to design UI and Java components and the definition of back end database changes
- Familiarity with application architecture components
