Job Description
Technical Requirements
Strong HTML, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, XML programming skills
Proficient in JavaScript / Dojo / jQuery
Proficient with Adobe Photoshop
Basic understanding of interaction design and user-centered design methods & practices
Duties and Responsibilities
Generate and maintain front-end code (HTML / CSS / JavaScript)
Develop new and effective interactive design solutions on time and in scope.
Collaborate with UX team to deliver on new business initiatives and platform enhancements.
Research and recommend appropriate interactive technologies
Develop reusable code libraries
Conduct code walkthroughs and quality assurance with development teams
Develop web accessible and browser compatibility code
Education and Training
A degree in Marketing, Visual Communication, Graphic Arts, Computer Science or related area is a plus.
Professional Experience
3+ years experience with HTML, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, RSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other related interactive technologies.
1+ years experience in e-commerce, retail merchandising/marketing, advertising, product development, e-commerce or related fields.
Experience Web Accessibility Standards a plus.
Experience with BroadVision, JSP, Swing, Struts would be a definite asset but not necessarily required.
Professional experience collaborating with design and development teams on large-scale projects.
Experience working with the Agile development methodology
A portfolio of the candidate’s best recent work will be reviewed
