Job Title: Windows Sydtem Engineer with Sabre
Location: Dallas,TX
Duration: 18+ Months Contract
Must Have :
This position will provide overall support administration of Sabre environments supporting flight dispatch and crew scheduling.
Requirements:
Must be capable of administering, configuring and rebuilding Sabre CrewTrac, FlightTrac, and associated process environments.
Must be able to work independently and in a group setting.
Job will require occasional to frequent 3rd shift responsibilities during our Operations maintenance window for upgrades and maintenance as needed.
Must have strong working knowledge with the configuration and administration of M.S. Windows Server 2003 -2008 (knowledge level expert)
Must be local to Dallas area.
Basic understanding and proficiency with VMware
Experience with data integration and system migrations
An understanding of Aviation technology systems
Knowledge and compliance with change controls
Ability to work with outside vendors for support.
Beneficial:
Familiarity with Pervasive SQL databases & clients in a Windows server environment.
Understanding of MS SQL database maintenance and general Windows systems troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Terminal services is a plus
An understanding of basic Networking is a plus
Understanding of SAN storage systems is a plus
Secondary education, 4 year degree preferred.
Familiarity with access control
Update regarding the skill/experience needed for this role:
Sabre Reservations and Revenue –Reservations systems and Revenue management products, mostly mainframe based ( Sabre Supersonic, Travelocity, etc)
Sabre Streamline products- Airport operations, and scheduling (Gate Manager, Staff Admin, Staff Plan, Gate Plan)
Sabre Flight Control Suite – Airline Dispatch and scheduling systems – (Flite Trac, Dispatch Manager, Crew Trac, Flite Control, and most recently FLICA)
They don't need the first, and only have a small amount of the second. It's that third category they really want.
