Role: Unix/Weblogic senior developer

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Hartford, CT

Relevant Expereince: 3-4 years

Technical/Functional Skills:

Mandatory:

-       JBoss/Weblogic (App Server)

-       Oracle (Application & Tuning)

-       Unix OS

-   NAS/SAN and FTP

 

Expereince Required:

ü  Good experience in app servers and dependencies.

ü  Very good experience required in the technical skills specified.

ü  Great written and verbal communication skills.

ü  Proven history of finding opportunities for and implementing procedural improvements.

ü  Leadership experience, influencing others.

ü  Proficient with Microsoft Office products, creating procedural documents and reports.

ü  Windows experience – comfortable with DOS commands.

Roles & Responsibilities:

ü  Good experience in handling Weblogic app servers in UNIX OS. On call support during non-business hours on select weeks.

ü  Finding opportunities for and implementing procedural improvements.

ü  Creating procedural documents and Reports.

ü  Good understanding and experience in NAS/SAN and FTP.

ü  Application related and tuning experience in Oracle DB.

 

Generic Managerial Skill:        

ü  Leadership experience, influencing others.

ü  Proficient with Microsoft Office products, creating procedural documents and reports.

ü  Also coordination should be ensured with different support groups and offshore.
