US CONSULTING - CONTRACT Java Developer in Jefferson City, MO

Job title: Java Developer
Location:  Jefferson City, MO 
Duration:  6+ months  
Rate: 50-55$/hr

Note: US Citizen, Green Card, or EAD or H1b 

SUMMARY

Programmer  The Programmer will follow the System Development Life Cycle to code the Java based application.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide time estimates and assist the Project Manager and other team members in preparing
project timeline, project deliverables.
Conduct analysis and produce scope of work for conversion
Ensure solutions (enhancements/modifications/recommendations) integrate efficiently with
other application and technologies.
Supply regular progress reports to the project supervisor
Perform other development tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
Instruct and mentor technical team on the findings and present & walkthrough the findings
documents with the project team.
Assist with technical documentation creation by providing architecture diagram, system and
data process flow diagrams, Entity Relationship diagram (ERD) etc.
Establish a professional, successful relationship with the client.

Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise with Java J2EE.
Proficient in JSP, JQUERY, JSON, JERSEY REST WEBSERVICES and JDBC.
Proficient with WebSphere Hibernate OR EJB3.
Knowledgeable on Spring Framework.
Knowledgeable on Active Directory.
State Government experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Experience creating technical specs.
Experience with gathering business requirements
