DETAILS:

Position: Lead Oracle/Informatica Architect

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: 1 year

Interview: Telephonic

 

The position serves as a Lead Oracle and Informatica architect for DW/BI solutions.  The candidate will lead and provide architecture support for DW/BI projects and initiatives related to the expansion of the enterprise data warehouse and development of new BI applications.  Responsibilities will include Informatica architecture support, leading the Informatica ETL development and troubleshooting, dimensional modeling, PL/SQL development, Oracle performance tuning, and support for BI developers among other duties.  Technologies leveraged include Oracle 10g/11g, PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter 9.5 and Business Objects XI. 

 

Specific Duties:

 

1.Lead the full SDLC for DW/BI projects and initiatives, including business analysis, project leadership as well as technical design and development leadership.

2.Provide Informatica Architecture and Troubleshooting support

3.Perform data architecture duties, including leading OLAP and OLTP modeling efforts.

4.Lead Oracle and Informatica ETL development efforts.

5.Hands-on DW development required, not only lead/architect duties.

6.Perform intensive data analysis on source system databases.  Analyze and understand source system database, find required data, and profile the data.

7.Oracle Performance tuning and troubleshooting

8.Support BI development with Business Objects XI suite (including Crystal reports, WebI, Xcelsius).
