SQL Server, Change management
Experience with the Embarcadero, Power Designer and/or Visual Studio Database Edition for Data Modeling is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Drive EDW outcomes in a high volatility environment.
Enhance communication between IT and the rest of the company as it relates to the data warehouse and reporting.
Directly lead a team of developers, DBAs and business analysts.
Partner to perform architecture and code reviews during key points of the SDLC and enforce compliance with standards.
Work with business units to understand tactical requirements and strategic goals and develop scalable, available, and high performance database solutions to meet these objectives while managing expectations.
Facilitate the support of customer data security policies using encryption, views, hardware, software and other techniques to minimize the profile of highly sensitive data either static in data stores or while in transit.
Oversee the troubleshooting of performance problems.
Provide senior IT management with an overview of any 24/7 incident response due to data warehouse events.
Provide technical support in a 24x7 production environment.
Verify Backup/Restore processes to insure usability.
Responsible for contributing to and implementing enterprise-class database architectures across the organization.
